I just found this!

I just found this really neat little shop on Etsy named "For Strange Women". Isn't that perfect? I am a strange woman and here I find a shop for strange women! And it has potions and elixars and all kinds of yummy smelling things. I just ordered some clove lip balm. (clove is my favorite scent How did she know that?) And I ordered some aromas also...Astral Projection, Cleopatra, and Moss and Ivy. You know I only have 2 days left of radiation. After 33 days of getting a severe sunburn on my right breast, I think I need a treat for myself and this is it! You can find her shop at:

Her shop has a neat feel to it...kinda mysterious. She even has a special order for psychic vampires. Did I ever mention that I do tarot readings? I sometimes need a little more then my psychic protection that I do before readings. You really have to go visit her shop.

Have fun,

Brass, Turquoise, and Carnelian

This watch has a real antique feel to it...I think so anyway when I hold it. I love the brass watch face. The brass spacer beads really highlight the carnelian. I hope you like this watch and if you want to see more you can go to:

Only 4 more days

I am so happy and so exhausted. I only have 5 more days of radiation left in my treatment. At the end it will have been 33 days straight minus weekends of radiation. My best friend said it is like chemotherapy but it is not in your blood. My right breast looks like it has had a really bad sunburn. Poor thing. I wonder if I will get a gold star at the end of this? Or maybe a cookie?!

I know this blog is about my art and watches and other's art and stuff but hey this effects my art and I just had to talk about this to someone other than my husband. I am so happy to be alive and cancer free. What's a little sunburn...oh and I have to take pill for 5 years that will weaken my bones...THAT'S so the cancer does not come back but it's worth it. I am so blessed in my life and I am not complaining...just stating facts.

I sold a watch to someone that was giving it as a Christmas gift. Isn't that great? It was one of my favorite watches too. I hope her friend and the customer love the watch.

Anyway, enough for now. Thanks for reading my rambling,

Look at this!

I was looking through Etsy trying to get inspiration for earrings and I found this stained glass studio. I guess I relate to her so much because like her I took one class in watch beading and I was hooked! This woman also took one class in stain glass work and it became her passion. She makes all kinds of things from business card holders to earrings.

You can visit her shop at:

It is a very unique shop and I like it alot and wanted to share it with you. Have fun!

Oh, if you are new to my blog, don't forget to follow me...I love followers. LOL

Wonderful New Watch to Show You

This is the latest watch I am posting and I wanted to make sure I posted it here. These are FACETED carnelian and aventurine beads. I have found these to be hard to find. I just love this pic too...with the shell and all. My husband took the picture and he takes all my pics. I think he does a great job.

Look at this!

This is one of my favorite watches and I just had to share it here. I just listedit but I am really temped to keep it myself. But maybe it is meant for someone so I will wait a while to see if someone snatches it up. It is made for FACETED amethyst. That is so rare! It was on the expensive side too but, I had to have it. I made it with a toggle clasp because it was so delicate looking. I hope whose ever reading this enjoys looking at it. Here is a link to the listing:

New listing!

I I just posted the most beautiful watch. Well it is a different looking watch. It is a bit rustic looking and looks a bit like it is an antique but it is not. It is very earthy. You can see a pic of it above. Here is the URL to go to to see the listing: For some reason this watch reminds me of the beach.

Hope you all enjoy viewing it. Comments are always welcome.

I just thought that I would post something personal. This is my THIRD WEEK of radiation. Yep that is right. I am almost half way through my 33 days of getting radiation. I don't have any blisters yet, just a mild sunburn...nothing too bad. I go everyday except the week ends. It only takes 5 minutes on the table. I often wear the first watch i ever made cause it feels good. Thanks to those that care about this.

Take care,
