We're open!

It's into September and all of my shops are open. I have a new watch shop at Zibbet and I invite you to go there and visit and buy if you wish. I closed my watch shop at ArtFire. I still have Helen's Light Readings at ArtFire. I also still have my Etsy shop of watches. And I have my Helen's Light Readings on Etsy. I invite you to any of my shops. Make yourself at home.

Speaking of home. We are in a rental home and making it our own. Still lots to unpack but, unlike the last one, this one feels like home. I have all my beading things out so I can customize any watch anyone chooses now. I am excited to be settling. I hope all of you are doing well. As always comments are welcome.

Update on this Soap Opera

Well, we moved out of our rental home and we are living in a motel with our dogs and cat. We are still actively looking for a place to live. I am finding peace the best way I can. This is a time when I want to follow my thoughts more than my feelings because my feelings are fear and anxiety. I closed my watch shops down because I have no place to customize watches as I promise my customers that I will do for them. When we find a place to live and get settled I will open back up. I apologize for any inconvenience. So that is the latest in this soap opera.

Chaos on the Homefront

My watch and earring making has been halted lately. The house where my husband and my animal family have rented for the past 3 years has foreclosed and we are desperately looking for a place to live while packing. Actually the animals are fine. It's just the humans that are in a state. But my tarot cards tell me to trust and rest like the High Priestess would. And she is the epitome of intuition. So I am trying to do that. Plus I know that I am taken care of and that I am not going to be left out in the cold. There are lessons to be learned here and so on and so forth. LOL!! I just wanna make sure my animals have a good back yard and that I have room for my beading table and two pieces of exercise equipment. Is that too much to ask? Last time we moved we had 3 dogs, this time we only have 2. So that is easier...sadder but easier.

I started reading for a brand new phone service called Psychic Reader Network. I go by Mataya on that website.
Mataya is the name of one of my guides. I still have Helen's Light Readings on Etsy but one of my friends started this phone in website and wanted me to read for it. It is still just a baby site as we have just had one call on it and the reader called was unavailable at the time.

Father's Day...Better Late than Never

I am writing this for on of Etsy Blogger's Carnivals. It was this or my fav recipes. Anyone that knows me knows that I don't cook and I barely prepare food. So Father's Day was the choice. But this was a hard choice since my father died when I was 23. That was MANY years ago. Father's Day between me and my father is a blur as our relationship was never very good...in fact it was abusive. The end years were a little less abusive. We just saw the world differently. And let's face it, he was a weird individual.

But my husband has a wonderful daughter and she is my wonderful step-daughter. I have known her since the age of 2 and she is about 33 now. I love her a lot. She gave him a $50 gift card for amazon.com He loves amazon.com so this was a perfect gift. I no longer grieve over the loss of my father or even my mother since it has been a long time since they have passed. But, the relationship between my daughter and her father is what is important now. They have a good relationship and that matters. I am grateful for that and I depend on her remembering her father every Father's Day. And she does. Bless that woman. She holds a special place in my heart. So that is what Father's Day means to me.

Tamdoll is run by Tammy. Tammy makes fabric jewelry. The image you see above is a necklace. She has made each of the beads herself. That is awesome to me. When I think of making beads for my watches whether from fabric or paper or polymer clay it is overwhelming. She makes earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. She makes other things but go visit her shop and discover it for yourself.

This, of course, made me look at her shop which made me want to promote her shop in my blog. She has really cool scarves in her shop. By now you all know I LOVE LOVE LOVE scarves. A Possible New Adventure

My family and I may be going on a new adventure. For the past month, my husband has been interviewing with two companies in Vancouver, British Columbia. That's right Canada! And I live in California! We may be going on a huge adventure! I am so excited and nervous and I have all kinds of feelings all jumbled together. I just had to blog about it. I will keep you posted. He is suppose to have a face to face interview by the end of June...so we shall see what we shall see.
